This page has the various things that would not go anywhere else and
which I found interesting. For starters, I found the following item
interesting. Yup, that is a dual vacuum cleaner. I guess that is
how they manage to keep the ship so clean. One person can do the work
of two!

In most of the movies
you see with ships, the various sections of the ship are separated from each
other with large bulkheads that fit into a frame around the corridor.
The Century's equivalent of the large bulkheads were heavy doors (really
heavy!) that closed onto a frame that was almost flushed with the floor.
There was enough of a bump that the floor plates were marked with a caution
sign.

Way too many of these
signs on the ship! I kept running into them whenever I was getting close to
something interesting.

The
ship carries it's own gangplanks which it then extends from the ship to the
land. They are stored right inside the sea level entry areas.

This might look like a standard
picture of a hall but there is something different about these rooms.
Note the doorbell on the doorframe to this room. Right! The
suites have doorbells while the other staterooms don't. Guess this is
one of those special (?) features of the fancier rooms!

When we were leaving the ship
at one of the ports, I looked up and saw the main embarkation doors open.
Don't know what purpose was served by opening them, but I'd hate to see
anybody try to use them!

While I did not get to see the bridge, I was able to take a few pictures of
the bridge extension that is used to eyeball how close the ship is to the
dock.
